Rakim Mayers, better known as A$AP Rocky, was arrested Wednesday at Los Angeles International Airport in connection with a shooting in November, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to multiple law enforcement sources familiar with the matter, Rihanna was with Mayers when he was arrested, and a search warrant has been executed at Mayers’ residence in Los Angeles.

Tyler Perry caused an uproar on social media after tackling Mary J. Blige‘s Super Bowl performance look on Feb. 16, to promote his upcoming Netflix project “A Madea Homecoming.”

Lawyers for Swift say the judge that allowed the suit to proceed failed to consider the “extrinsic test”

It was reported earlier this month that Taylor Swift would face a jury trial over accusations that she plagiarised the lyrics for ‘Shake It Off’. Now, lawyers for the singer have formally asked to have that trial scrapped.

Back in 2017, songwriters Sean Hall and Nathan Butler claimed that Swift copied lines from the pair’s 2001 song ‘Playas Gon’ Play’, which they wrote for the girl group 3LW. Primary Wave has bought Brown’s music assets, including publishing, master income stream, and name and likeness rights

James Brown’s estate has sold the late singer’s music assets to Primary Wave, the publishing and management company announced on Monday, marking the latest blockbuster deal in the booming song acquisition market.

Primary Wave didn’t comment on the financial details of the deal or how much of a stake it purchased, but a source familiar with the deal tells Rolling Stone Primary Wave bought the entirety of Brown’s publishing, master income stream, and name and likeness rights that were owned by the estate. Lil Wayne has been accused of pulling a gun out on his own bodyguard during a dispute at his home.

The security guard reported to the police that he got into a verbal altercation with Wayne at his Hidden Hills mansion in California after Lil Wayne claimed that he took pictures of him and leaked them to the media without his permission.

Before being told to leave the mansion, the guard went to the bathroom instead of immediately leaving.

According to the guard, Lil Wayne then turned to physical violence while waving an AR-15 rifle.

Security says that after this event, he left the property and went to the community’s guard’s shack to call the police.
