A Pennsylvania police officer is among four charged with child luring in Atlantic City after a group of citizens posed as underage children and confronted the men, police said.

The group, who are affiliated with Colorado Ped Patrol, a website that attempts to nab child predators, provided police with screen shots of online conversations with the men as well as other information.

Among those charged is Clifford Horn, 54, of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, a corporal with the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, according to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

Horn was attempting to meet someone he though was a 14-year-old boy, according to 6abc.com.

“Our office has assigned personnel to assist New Jersey authorities in any capacity, and to investigate and prosecute any criminal activity that may have occurred in Bucks County,” district attorney Matt Weintraub said in a statement. “This office protects all victims, regardless of whether the accused perpetrator is an officer of the law or not. No one is above the law. Our office will begin the process of evaluating all Bucks County criminal cases in which Cpl. Horn was involved.”

Also charged with luring are Jose Machuca, 51, of Hyattsville, Maryland; Sambatrimiaina Raminoson, 26, of Atlantic City; and Eugene Pulley, 49, of Philadelphia.

All were issued summonses and released.
